The rats still do and armour tank though.
You need to look up the nightmare, it hasn't used missiles for a while. They have a small angel trained + led defence force and thats pretty much it. It would be unreasonable to expect such a minor group to have direct control over large amounts of space. Serpentis are a very small faction made up of the serpentis corporation (a business venture) and a smaller sister corporation, serpentis inquest. The background of each faction directly relates to how much space they have, whether you mean have sovereignty over or have rats in. If you read up on the background of serpentis there is no reason for them to have more space, or indeed to want more. In terms of that, the only noticable difference is that Bloods use nosferatu and Sansha use TD's.įirstly becuase they are a business, not a military group. However that is irrellevant to actually killing them. The Blood ships get web and neut bonuses and use lasers and armor tank. Nightmare (and other Sansha ships) are shield tanking missile using maurader-esque ships. The only real difference is the Nightmare vs the Bhgallhorn (however you spell it). I don't know the details of Sansha vs Blood loot or salvage, but they'll both give Amarr loot, their faction modules are lasers and armor tanking, they do the same damage types. In terms of that, the only noticable difference is that Bloods use nosferatu and Sansha use TD's. Nightmare (and other Sansha ships) are shield tanking LAZORBEAM using maurader-esque ships. They still hold much of the space they took. They expanded rabidly during the Reclaiming, but it had to stop when they got their asses handed to them by the Jovians and the Minmatar rebelled. MehĪs for Amarr having so much space, that has an explanation. I wonder why they don't direct the money from the angels to expanding more and becoming more powerful. You are right that their best space is very focussed in Fountain, but then its probably the best region in the game. The background has them as far less powerful than the angels or guristas. Thay have more regions than bloods or sanshas, who are totally different in all aspects other than damage types.
(I want to know how i can get missions from them in curse but only kill them in fountain). Serpentis are so weak (militarily) they have to hire the angels to protect them ffs (gaurdian angels). You are as well asking why amarr space is so big. Tl:dr version - there is almost nowhere with serpentis rats, see images. Even if no more serpentis areas are opened, it'd be nice if ratting in the other 4 serpentis regions didn't suck balls. On this issue, there's almost no western 0.0 regions, and two of them are NPC sov. The biggest imbalance is how concentrated ultra-low sec serpentis areas are (almost all in fountain) which is wrong imo. The reason I find this bad from a gameplay standpoint is that it reduces the supply of named hybrids and other gallente stuff. Fountain is really the only region with Serp rats that's worth a damn in terms of money. Not only do other NPC's have several more regions, they have many more good systems, and those system are more distributed. This image is the same but put over an outdated eve influence map (so you can see the actual space and compare)īlood Raiders and Sansha are lumped together since they're both Amarr rats and in most aspects are the same. This is an image showing the size of each NPC pirate's patrolled space.
Only XZH has a station in it, the other two are NPC controlled and are 16 and 14 jumps from the nearest station, respectively. two of the 4 regions (Fade is more north than west) are NPC sov, and all but 3 of the best systems with Serpentis rats are in Fountain. Not only that, there's almost no 0.0 out in the west anyway, and most of it sucks. The space that you find Serpentis rats in belts is really small. The following post is from a gameplay standpoint, not a roleplay standpoint
